Note: The Series-500 cards (MAXPCIe 502 and MAXPXIe 500) are supported both by MAXIM 4 and MAXIM 2. We recommend to use MAXIM 4 for new developments / new designs and MAXIM 2 when backward compatibility with existing MAXIM projects developed with the Series-400 cards is needed. If you intend to use the Series-500 cards with the MX Foundation API as well, you need to pick MAXIM 4 if working with MX Foundation 4 and MAXIM 2 if working with MX Foundation 3.
