High quality interface cables
MAX Technologies offers interface cables with standard connectors to simplify the connections to the MAX Technologies hardware. Most of the cables of 150 cm or 60” long. All cables can be manufactured with custom lengths. MAX Technologies also has the ability to offer a wide range of custom cables. Cables for dual-module carrier boards
These cables connect to any carriers featuring two module sites: the MAXPCIe 502, MAXPXIe 500, PCI-400-2 and PXI-400 carriers. Each module on the carrier requires its cable: 1 module on the carrier = 1 cable, 2 modules on the carrier = 2 cables.
The cable depends on the I/O mezzanine module mounted on the carrier.
The MAX-AC-40300 is the most common cable. It is designed to work with most of the I/O modules, except the ones for ARINC 629, MIL-STD-1553 and ARINC 708.

Cables for quad-module carrier boards
These cables connect to carriers featuring four module sites: the PCI-400 and the CPCI-400 carriers. Each cable addresses the pinout of two I/O mezzanine module. This means that: 1 or 2 modules on the carrier = 1 cable, 3 or 4 modules on the carrier = 2 cables.
The cable depends on the two I/O mezzanine modules selected to be mounted on the carrier.
The MAX-AC-40100 is the most common cable. It is designed to work with most of the I/O modules, except the ones for ARINC 629, MIL-STD-1553 and ARINC 708.

Cables for other uses
ARINC 629 cable:
- MAX-AC-40102-B, ARINC 629 interface with Cinch connectors at both ends. Can connect a FlexMulti 629 to a MAX629 Bus Connect or a compatible Current Mode Coupler (CMC). Can also connect one of these two devices to a compatible UUT. Cable is 9 meters or 29’6” long.
MIL-STD-1553 cables:
- MAX-AC-40509, DB-9 to CJ70 tri-axial connectors for FlexMulti devices, except FlexMulti 1553. Useful to connect the FlexMulti device MIL-STD-1553 buses to a coupler.
- MAX-AC-40051, 2-meter long stub cable with CJ70 tri-axial connectors at both ends. Can connect a coupler to another coupler, a UUT, a Flex1553 PCIe analyzer or a FlexMulti 1553 analyzer.
- MAX-AC-40054, 1-meter long stub cable with CJ70 tri-axial connectors at both ends. Can connect a coupler to another coupler, a UUT, a Flex1553 PCIe analyzer or a FlexMulti 1553 analyzer.
