The RelayBox includes 64 reed relays arranged in a 4 x 16 matrix. User may control the RelayBox using USB, Ethernet, digital inputs or the rotary knob located on the front panel. Programming the RelayBox is done using the C MXF4 API or Swift RelayBoxKit framework.

Controlling the RelayBox
Front panel rotary knob
The toothed rotary knob on the front panel allows manual control selection of two ports to join together. The front panel display shows the two selected ports.
RelayBoxKit
Remotely controlled using the RelayBoxKit framework.
Allows easy programming with the modern Swift programming language on macOS, Linux and Windows.
MX Foundation API
MX Foundation 4 is the C library controlling almost all MAX Technologies devices, including the RelayBox.
Using other programming languages
Any programming environments supporting C language interop can control the RelayBox by writing appropriate wrapper to the C
MX Foundation API.
