MX Foundation 4
|
The following table lists the MAX Technologies modules and devices supporting ARINC 708 interface and the associated MX Foundation constants values. These MX Foundation constants are used by mxfDeviceModuleAllGet() to identify the ARINC 708 interface available on a device.
Module model name | Module MXF constant |
---|---|
ARINC 708 ENHANCED | MXF_MODULE_A708_EH |
IPM-708 | MXF_MODULE_A708 |
FlexMAX 708 | MXF_MODULE_FLEX708 |
The following table lists, for each device that supports ARINC 708, the number of transmit/receive channels and module index position for mxfDeviceModuleGet().
Device | A708 Tx/Rx | A708 Module Index |
---|---|---|
FlexMulti 1553 | 1/1 | 5 |
FlexMulti 629-4 | 2/2 | 10 |
11 | ||
FlexMulti 429-32 FlexMulti 429-64 FlexMulti 664-2-32 FlexMulti 664-2-64 FlexMulti with M2 option | 2/2 | 14 |
15 | ||
IPM-708 | 1/1 (MAX-IP-200850) | Depends on slot position of the carrier |
2/2 (MAX-IP-200851) | ||
FlexMAX 708 | 2/2 | Based on FlexMAX module slot |
For each module, channel [0] is the transmit channel, followed by the receive channel [1], except for FlexMAX 708 where channels [0-1] are the transmit channels, followed by the receive channels [2-3]
On FlexMulti, the A708 module shares the same physical connection as the MIL-1553 channel, except on FM1553-2. Selection between MIL-1553 and A708 is made with KMXF_A708_MODULE_ACTIVE attribute.
